Miley Cyrus is one of those girls who have been infront of the public eye for a long time – her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus was a country singer and well, despite it all, Miley has made a name for herself… or in a way, she’s made two names for herself. She stared on the Disney show, Hannah Montana which then led to her second ‘persona’ – teenagers refered to her as Hannah Montana. No matter what, Miley got out of that phase and now she’s a successful singer with a new fiancee by her side.
Let’s take a look at Miley Cyrus’ style through time!
2006: Sweet-oh- sweet Miley. Her style was simple and sweet, yet there was hint of edginess to it. Something that’s very hard to diffrenciate at that age – but she did it.
2007: For someone so young, she already knew how to challenge herself when it comes to fashion.
2008: This is the time when Miley was trying to get out of her Hannah Montana phase – dying her hair dark and giving the viewers that edgy and rocker-chick like persona. Though, she didn’t really suit this phase, it’s still good that she tried.
2009: At one of the award shows, Miley came up like a princess. Wearing this floral dress – she showed everyone she was just as girly if she wanted to be. Pretty good on her there. Though, we do prefer her ‘rocker-chick’ side.
2010: There we go, this is Miley Cyrus we know pretty well. This is year she completely came out of her Disney shell and started dating a big boy, Liam Hemsworth – not to mention, her style went straight into what was really her. That indie-rocker chick with a laid back feel. She makes this look effortlessly chic.
2011: Now we see Miley growing up even more. Testing a wider water – trying on couture, and exploring different patterns and styles but at the same time, there is that hint of her style that still pops through. Which is good. This means she knows how her style is actually like. Plus, her relationship with Liam might have something to do with that!
2012: This year was a big one for Miley Cyrus. She got engaged and got rid of her long brown hair! Two big changes and she’s taking it really well. When she first cut her hair, everyone was a little skeptical, but she knows how to pull it off! We are loving her new look – and we can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
