Honda Malaysia has recently announced the 10,000th Honda Hybrid owner in Malaysia, Hitz.FM radio announcer Tengku Mohd Ean Nasrum or better known as Ean.
This achievement coincides with the achievement of one million Honda Hybrid owners globally since the introduction of the first generation Insight in November 1999 in Japan.
Honda has introduced a total of 4 new models of the hybrid; the Insight, Jazz Hybrid, CR-Z and Civic Hybrid in the Honda Hybrid Family to Malaysians who the value of advanced green technology.
Subsequent to the launch of the Insight at the end of 2010, Honda has successfully obtained 54.4% of the hybrid market share in 2011 and has increased up to 66% as of August 2012. As Honda Malaysia has led the hybrid market, it will continue to lead it by introducing more hybrid models for Malaysians. And now with a broad line-up of hybrid models to cater to the diverse needs of customers, Honda Malaysia strives to deliver products equipped with advanced green technology to offer advanced performance, better fuel economy, affordability and a fun-to-drive element for customers.
