When we talk about BMW the first thing came into your head is cars right? BMW Group Malaysia has shaken things up by introducing of the all new BMW C 600 Sport and BMW C 650 GT by BMW Motorrad. Oh, did we forget to mention they’re Maxi Scooters.
Specifically design for high-energy costs lifestyle and congested traffic in the city, both BMW C 600 Sport and BMW C 650 GT are perfect for scooter riders for a brand new high-powered experience. It features a 2-cylinder inline engine with an output of 44 kW / 60 hp at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 66 at 6,00 rpm.
The two BMW scooters have raised the bar as they placed their BMW trademark design into their scooters for a sleek ride. The BMW C 600 is designed for riders who want a sporty vibe while BMW C 650 is all about the luxury of comfort and the capability to tour. As for the design, the BMW Maxi Scooters have an upside down fork and a two-rotor disc brake and the tail is customly designed single swing-arm with dimensioned hollow wheel axles.
Regardless of all the magnificent capabilities, both BMW maxi scooters has a low sound and vibration characteristics all because of it’s 90° crank pin offset, 270° ignition spacing and a pair of balancer shafts driven by spur gears.
Almost identical like the other BMW Motorrad models, the new BMW Maxis Scooters comes with a Can bus (controller area network) electrical system which networks the instrument cluster, ABS and engine controller as well as the electronic immobiliser and the anti-theft alarm system and tyre pressure control (RDC) which are available as optional equipment.
Safety is BMW’s priority and they want the best for their customers. Both maxi scooters has a good braking system consisting of a two-rotor disc brake at the frona nd a single disc brake at the rear with BMW Motorras ABS fitted as a standard feature for extra safety. On top of that, these scooters are the first models by BMW to feature LED daytime running light technology.
Available in Cosmic Blue Metallic Matt, Titanium Silver Metallic and Sapphire Black Metallic for the BMW C 600 Sport and Sapphire Black Metallic, Platinum Bronze Metallic and Vermillion Red Metallic on the BMW C 650 GT.
