Sypnosis
After an operation in Istanbul ends in complete disaster, James Bond has gone missing and is presumed dead. The identities of every active undercover M16 agent has been leaked on the internet – which is never a good thing. Questions are raised over M’s (played by Judi Dench) ability to run the Secret Service and she then becomes the subject of a government review over her handling the situation.
The service itself then becomes under attack and Bond’s sudden reappearance gives M the excuse to run for help from Raoul Silve (played by Javier Bardem), a dangerous villain claiming a personal connection to both of them. But as he follows a trail from London to the South China Sea, Bond soon finds his loyalty to M challenged over her secret past.
Daniel Craig is back as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
