We all know that living on a budget isn’t as fun as it you’d imagine it to be. Due to your financial restraints, you might may fear being excluded or be able to live your life as you imaged. But there many ways you can make the most out of what you have without having to feel like you’re going to be left out! So, start saving some money and have fun at the same time!

Swap Clothing
When you’re hoping for something new in your closet, organizing a night-in with your girlfriends where everyone swaps clothes. Make it a special night-in with a cozy atmosphere and share the cost for some wine and snacks. Have everyone bring a bunch of clothes they want to get rid of to trade.Just remember not to trade your faded pieces for a sequined tank!

Have a Pot-Luck Party
It’s that time of the week where you wish you could go out and have dinner with your friends at that chic place. Do it yourself by getting everyone together in park or at home where everyone contributes something to make it a fun night.

Watch Free Shows
If you’re one who enjoys going to the cinema to help unwind after a stressful day on your own, head home and watch movies or TV shows for free over the internet. Instead of spending RM20 on tickets and popcorn, spend half of the amount by getting yourself a proper meal, instead. Check out Project Free TV for a variety of chick flicks to popular TV series.

Best Deals in Town
“Couponing” may not be a trend in Malaysia, but you can certainly get down with the amazing deals being offered by websites like Groupon which gives you the benefit of indulging in foreign cuisine, pamper sessions and even that holiday that you’ve been trying to save up for! Remember to choose them wisely and not go overboard with all the exciting offers.

And if you’re really good with something, you can start making a little pocket cash out of it by venturing into a little business with the help of your friends and family.
