There is just something so alluring about Mulberry’s SS ’13 collection. It was different that what we’re used to seeing on the runway. But, the classy kind of different – nothing too wild.
Mulberry’s collection sticks towards simple and plain light shades of pink, green and orange – but you will see a little dose of black too. What really caught our eye was the prints that were used on the designs – though, it was rare in the collection, the use of quirky prints always hits the spot.
What we also noticed is that majority of the designs were clean cut on the top half, and then flowing through the bottom. Which we think is pretty elegant. Also… did you notice the poodle on the runway? That’s a completely different type of model that they brought out – but we think that the poodle as an accessory was pretty chic – it upped the game of Mulberry’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
TREND ALERT
What we’re noticing most in this Spring/Summer 2013 collection is a mix of light pastel shades and a mixture of silk materials. We also noticed that there are more blazers in the collection and elephant trunk pants, something that’s been brought back from the past in a way. These looks can be worn on an everyday basis, which is what we always look for in a Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
