To Exercise At A Gym Or In A Park?

You know you need to lose weight and get healthy but you just do not know how. Some have told you that jogging two hours in a park everyday would help you while others have suggested that going to a gym would be a better option. Confused? Well ladies, working out in a gym or exercising in a park could give you the same end result.

The only difference is the surrounding of the place and exercising in both places has its own set of pros and cons. Here are some simple guidelines for you to decide if you are a gym person or an outdoor person.

No. 1: You need people to motivate you 

Realize that you only feel motivated to exercise when you see others exercising? Then choosing a gym would be a better option as you would feel motivated to reach your goal when you see everyone else exercising. Although it is quite common for you to see people exercising in a park, but the type of motivation which you could get at a gym would be more intense.

No. 2: You know nothing about exercising 

After 30 years, you have finally decided to exercise and you do not know where to start. You have tried asking your friends to help you out and you have also tried reading up about different types of exercises and its benefits but nothing seems to be working. Then you should consider signing up at the gym to learn more. Your trainer would be the best person who could advise you about the correct type of exercise which you should do to reach your goal.

No. 3: You do not have a specific goal 

You do not have a goal and you just would like to start exercising because your doctor told you so. If this is the case, then the best place for you to exercise would be outdoors. A gym isn’t really necessary unless if you really can’t push yourself because you do not have a goal and you just need to do basic movements to get yourself healthy. Start of by taking a walk or even by jogging slowly.

No. 4: You do not like to use exercising equipments

You are determined that even without the help of different exercising equipments, you can reach your goal. If this is the case, then a gym isn’t the place where you should be at.  Some people just enjoy nature and they feel that exercising should done the conventional way. If you fit into this category, then exercising outdoors would be best for you.

No. 5: You do not like being around people 

If you are a person who feels uncomfortable doing things when you are around a lot of people, then exercising outdoors would be a better option for you. Being in a gym would just make you feel uncomfortable and it wouldn’t help you reach your goal at all. So go out to a park and start exercising today. Do not waste that cash at a gym when you know it is not going to work out for you.
