‘Boyfriend’ singer Justin Bieber lands his second cover on esteemed music magazine Rolling Stone. Styled in gelled up hairdo and a simple white wifebeater shirt, he looks more mature compared to his first cover photo on Rolling Stone last year:
Since being discovered in 2008, Bieber has become a household name – there’s no escape from him, unless you live in a cave and have no communication to the outside world. It’s quite mind-blowing that an 18 year old has a list of achievements that could fill up a book: from winning awards to platinum albums to successful acting gigs, we’ve just given up trying to memorize what Justin has done. Apart from that, this teen sensation also has a strong army of fans who’ve caught the ‘Bieber Fever’ and call themselves the ‘Beliebers’. Don’t mess with them, either – just go on Twitter.com (where Justin has over 25 million followers!) and you’ll see Tweets from the Beliebers professing their love for him.
His latest studio album, ‘Believe’, was released last month, and – surprise, surprise – it debuted at number one on Billboard. The first single off this album is ‘Boyfriend’, where he sings about how he’d treat a girl in all the sweet, romantic ways – we can just imagine his female fans having this song on ‘repeat’ and wishing that he’s singing ‘Boyfriend’ to them! Anyway, we digress. So Justin’s older now, has released a more mature album, and gets a second cover on one of the world’s most famous magazines. What’s new in Justin’s life since his first cover? Here are some tidbits from the magazine:
-He has no qualms about hitting golf balls at paparazzi.
-He decorates the dashboard of his car with his initials – in crystal studs, no less.
-His fans have given a nickname for his genital area, and he’s aware of it.
-Last Christmas, he greeted President Obama by saying, “What up, my dude!”
-He admits that he’s an attentive boyfriend, and thinks it’s important to compliment his girlfriend regularly.
