MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia 2012 at Surf Beach @ Sunway Lagoon was a rockin’ success! Thousands of Beliebers, Jaywalkerz, Kamelias and Mizz Nina fans queuing up as early as 7:00am in anticipation to watch their favortie stars preform.
Justin Bieber, K-pop sensations Jay Park and Kara, and local singer-songwriter Mizz Nina all brought on a performance the crowd will never forget. They danced, the connected, the did everything.
Once the fans came running into the stage area, the count-down to the show started and worldwide superstar and #1 recording artist Justin Bieber opened the show by emerging from center stage and kicking off the night with his smash hit, “Baby”! The crowd went wild as he sung other songs from his new and old album. To close his set Justin preformed “Boyfriend,” – his new single from his latest album, ‘Believe’.
Next up was Park Gyu Ri, Han Seung Yeon, Goo Ha Ra, Nicole Jung and Kang Ji Young – better known as Korea’s mega girl-group, Kara. This was their first-ever live Malaysian appearance.
Malaysia’s own Mizz Nina was the next for MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia, opening her set with “Just Do It” and then going into “Takeover” and “Hit Me Up.” And ofcourse, she finished off the night singing the song that kick-started her career, ‘What You Waiting For’.
As the great finale to the entire event, MTV brought on U.S. born and bred Korean-American sensation, Jay Park. He gave his all during his performance, and he kept the crowd captivated with “Abandoned” and a Korean version of “Know Your Name.” Especially with those amazing dance moves.The crowd definitely got more than what they expected – and they all went home with so much satisfaction.
MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia 2012 will be premiering on MTV SEA channel on Saturday 28 July 2012, 2:30pm (MAL).
