“I need to lose weight.” A common line we ladies use especially after giving birth. How many of us have actually taken the initiative to lose that baby weight?
Carla Soong, a celebrity model in Malaysia was in your shoes as well. She has a 20 month old baby and she gained 20 kgs through out her pregnancy. When she delivered her child, she cried and was extremely depressed about her weight.
Today she looks like this. Her secret to losing her baby weight was discipline.
She admits that “some mothers prefer to pay more attention to their babes instead but some on the other hand wants to get back their shape and they shouldn’t procrastinate.”
She lost her baby weight in 6 months after giving birth and this is what which made her realize how much she had put on.
“I opened my wardrobe and I couldn’t fit into anything. I told myself that I am not going to buy a new set of clothes instead I am going to make myself fit back into the old ones.”
Here is what Carla did everyday to lose that weight.
“The secret was exercise. Every morning without fail, I got up and went for yoga and pilates. Every evening, I walked on the thread mill. I also avoided carbohydrate and ate lightly during dinner.”
Some women give up half way because the weighing scale does not seem to be telling them anything positive. Yes Carla went through the same thing and here was her tiny little secret to be sure that her exercise was paying off.
“I did not believe the scale. Scales are only useful after a few months. For me I used my jeans. In the beginning, my jeans wouldn’t go up at all. Then it slowly went up my knees, then after a few more weeks, it went up my mid thigh and in the end I could fit into it again.”
Here you have it ladies. Celebrities lose weight the hard way as well. Not all of them use the shorter way which is of course the unhealthy way as well. If you want to lose you baby weight, start doing something about it now All you need is to be focused, determined and disciplined.
