The Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (MUMO) has announced new entry requirements for Miss Universe Malaysia to create a more inclusive and empowering platform for women. In a press conference held at MYEG Tower, Eleen Yong, MUMO’s new National Director, launched the official call for entry for Miss Universe Malaysia 2024. She also revealed the abolition of the upper age limit and the acceptance of women who are married, divorced, and mothers into the competition.
These revolutionary changes mark a significant departure from past rules, which restricted participation to single, unmarried women aged 28 or under. MUMO is proud to be a part of this transformative change, listening to Malaysians and taking decisive steps to be more inclusive.
