KOTEX to The Rescue with ProActive Guards Technology!

There are two things we hate as women: discrimination and periods. There’s probably more to the list like cheating spouses and bad hair days but period probably tops the list because of the way it affects us physically and emotionally which causes our self esteem to plummet. One of the problems we women face when it comes that time of the month is leakage. Every one of us women would have gotten up one day only to find the map of Australia on our bedsheets or worse, while at work or school.

THE PROBLEM

We restrict ourselves during that time of the month because we worry about staining our clothes and being bloated. All these can cause emotional and physical duress not to mention the dreaded cramps that come along for some girls. Up to 60% of us girls find it hard to concentrate on daily tasks which include being active and fashionable.

THE LONGER THE BETTER?

Longer pads are for women with heavier flows and for night usage because we have the pads on for longer durations. Pads should always be changed every 3 to 5 hours depending on your flow and also for hygiene purposes. Night pads are usually longer towards the back because fluid flows backwards when you’re lying down thanks to gravity but research has proven that longer or thicker pads to not neccesary provide the best protection because it all comes down to design.

THE SOLUTION

Kotex has introduced a revolutionary pad with ProActive Guards which are located at the sides and back of the pad. When they come into contact with fluid, the Guards will intelligently rise to cradle your body for a close fit and form protective barriers to provide the ultimate leakage protection. The pad also comes with Rapid Absorb Funnels which are specially designed to absorb fluid during heavy or sudden flow, locking the liquid away securely and preventing leakage.

According to Chia Oi Peng, Managing Director of Kimberly-Clark Malaysia & Singapore, “Based on extensive research and consumer trials with the new KOTEX ProActive Guards, we have found that overall, 78% of women preferred Kotex versus competitor brands while 7 out of 10 women found Kotext to be more comfortable. Two times more women also preferred Kotex ProActive Guards on protection against back leakage.”

KOTEX with ProActive Guards are available in the following products:

Kotex Soft & Smooth 28 cm Overnight (RRP: RM4.55 onwards)

Kotex Soft & Smooth 32 cm Overnight (RRP: RM2.99)

Kotex LUXE 23cm Ultrathin, 28cm Ultrathin Overnight, 32cm Ultrathin Overnight (RRP: RM15.90 per pack). Kotex products are available at all major retail outlets nationwide.

The KOTEX event ended with all female participants releasing balloons into the sky with their ‘compromises’ attached as notes to the them symbolize the end of their worries. You too can end your compromises because KOTEX will be embarking on a full scale campaign to help women discover the “End of Compromise”. Part of the campaign’s exciting activities online will see women participating in the “Rumour Has It” Facebook personality test to find out which category of ‘compromiser’ they fit into and the “End of Compromise” photo contest.

Attractive prizes are up for grabs with the grand prize being a complete wardrobe, makeup and hair makeover by a professional stylist and a studio photo shoot worth RM3,000! For more information visit www.kotex.com.my or like them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/iknowmovement.
