During an exclusive preview at its ASICS Autumn Winter 2022 Regional Brand Day, ASICS launched a series of exciting new collections across all product categories – Performance Running, Core Performance Sports, SPORTSTYLE, and Apparel! Southeast Asia’s media friends, partners, and brand ambassadors were introduced to the latest innovations, technologies, and features designed to improve performance and movement, ranging from sports and sneakers to fitness apparel.
The preview, held in Bangkok, Thailand at the art gallery noble PLAY, featured thoughtfully-curated collections centred on its ongoing brand campaign, #LiveUplifted. The #LiveUplifted campaign, launched earlier this year, reinforces the brand’s ongoing commitment to moving the body and uplifting the mind.
ASICS brand ambassadors from Thailand attended the event, including Inn-Sarin Ronnakiat, Neng-Sarun Naraprasertkul, Toey-Pongsakorn Mettarikanon, Boom-Raveewit Jirapongkanon, Fluke-Pongsapat Kankham, Inntouch-Phataratorn Chalomephonphakdi, Shane-Nutchapol Cheevapanyaroj, Beer-Rapeewish Sangiamwong, and Anna Glücks.
Singapore brand ambassadors included actors Zong Zijie, Richie Koh, Tyler Ten, and radio DJs Germaine Leonora Tan and Zhu Zeliang, as well as ASICS athletes Jirapong Meenapra, Yothin Yaprajan, Pornjarim Nilyanimit, Settawut Thanaaeknithiwat from Thailand, Aby Marao, Alexie Caimoso, Kim Fajardo from the Philippines, and Christian. They participated in exhibitions and activities to highlight key benefits of the new products.
ASICS demonstrated the joy of exercise at the event with cutting-edge ASICS BLAST technology designed to improve running performance for running shoe models such as METASPEED+, NOVABLAST, and GEL-KAYANO. Through the ASICS Speed Lab Carbon and ASICS Speed Lab Blast, this technology assists runners in moving forward with confidence.
Attendees were also shown ASICS’ enhanced Core Performance Sports shoes, which were designed for speed and stability in tennis, badminton, volleyball, and a variety of other indoor sports. The ACTIBREEZE™ technology in ASICS’s latest apparel line, launched this year, demonstrates control and reduces humidity while providing comfort and advancement to wearers.
The ASICS Autumn Winter 2022 Regional Brand Day showcased the marriage of outstanding functionality and modern fashion through its SPORTSTYLE collection, in addition to its strategic technology. The esteemed Kiko Kostadinov Studio curated and co-developed a new range of sneakers that encourage self-expression and personal daily style. The GEL-QUANTUM simulates the elevated sensation of being in space, the GEL-SONOMA 15-50 depicts the rugged stability of a camping atmosphere in nature, and the JOGGER X81 creatively combines 1980s jogging shoes with a modern-day fashion twist.
ASICS is still dedicated to improving the body and mind through sports and exercises.
