Kylie Jenner, you’ve done your fans dirty again, gurl!
The billionaire entrepreneur has released a bunch of product lines over the years – from Kylie Cosmetics to Kylie Skin, and later, Kylie Baby when Stormi was born. Now, we have Kylie Swim. I wouldn’t be surprised if she comes up with Kylie Market or Kylie Vegetables. This bish is putting her name on everything.
But that’s not the problem. Sure, we love a good celebrity brand, and some of us are willing to splurge on ones that are of excellent quality. However, if you come up with crappy products, don’t be mad when people start raging. So, she recently launched her newest swimwear line with a range of bikinis, one pieces, sarong and kids swimwear.
What could go wrong? I mean, practically speaking here, when Kylie launches a bikini line, I expect it to be top notch due to the fact that she is almost always in a bikini, so she would know what a good quality bikini would be like. Call me judgy, and I am. But lo and behold, my guess was wrong and so was yours – we’ve all been fooled. Why, you ask? Keep on reading.
The Kylie Swim collection did become the talk of the town, but for all the wrong reasons. Apart from the beautiful colours chosen, there wasn’t much to the hype.
1. See-Through
Excuse me? A see-through bikini? We get it girl – you like your nippies out and about, but some girls would rather keep their nipples hidden. There are swimsuits that reveal the nipples in a sexy way, but those were designed to do that, meaning that they were made with sheer material for the purpose of being revealing.
Kylie Swim, however, did not mean to make bikinis that are see-through and fans who were buying her swimwear collection had no idea what they were wasting their money on. I mean, Kylie, come on now, honey! You have billions sitting in your bank account and yet you cannot produce a high-quality material that is thick and appropriate enough to be called a “bikini”?
I’m no bikini expert, but swimwear is supposed to make one feel comfortable and confident. I don’t think a bish wants to be walking around the beach with her titties hanging out! So, of course fans were enraged and came out on all socials to call Kylie out for her poor choice of material.
To which, she responded:
“I am completely and totally disappointed that this is completely see-through. I’ve seen behind the scenes what it takes to produce swimwear, and the fact that no one caught this blows my mind. For me, it comes down to lack of integrity as a business owner and an entrepreneur,” Kylie Jenner via TikTok.
Uhm, not quite sure what she means by “the fact that no one caught this blows my mind”, because she’s the CEO and Kylie herself gives the last word on all her products. So, the fact that you allowed this to be marketed and then threw your team under the bus – dang, girl!
2. Poor Stitching
When you’re known as a young billionaire, the products you release – without exception – must be of the highest quality. But what happened here is that most people who ordered the swimwear received rather messy and poorly-stitched pieces. Some of them even took to TikTok and Instagram, saying that the bikinis look cheap and were a complete rip-off, as they were also expensive.
3. High Priced
A determining factor that makes a product stand out among the rest is the quality and pricing. And Kylie’s swimwear line fails in both cases. Her bikinis are not only of poor quality, they are also sold at a high price compared to other brands that actually make really good swimwear for amazing quality.
4. Swimwear That Don’t Fit

Kylie is a beautiful, curvy woman, so it would only make sense for her to sell bikinis that do justice to curvy girls. But, nope. Kylie Swim’s bikinis are WAY too tiny, and don’t even fit small women. They’re way too revealing (in an uncomfortable way) and the materials are way too thin.
Dear, Kylie – vaginas come in all sorts of sizes. Not sure how yours look like, but for sure, a full grown woman’s vajayjay ain’t this small:
So, there you have it guys – why Kylie Swim is a total flop. But of course, Kylie did some rebranding after the chaos. What’s even better is that Kim Kardashian released her swimwear line by SKIMS that is way better, in the wake of Kylie’s swimwear backlash. Always knew Kim was a savage!
