This Ramadhan, Four Points by Sheraton Puchong aims to take you on a nostalgic tour across Malaysia’s favourite dishes from the good old days at the Selera Nostalgia Buffet Dinner.
A variety of food offerings has been prepared for guests, allowing them to choose from over a hundred local selections which includes Roti John with minced beef or sardine, spring chicken with briyani spices (ayam dara masak briyani), beef stew with coconut cream (daging masak gulai), Malaysian oxtail sup (Sup Ekor), prawn mee, curry laksa and more.
Pick from a variety of stalls that feature the chef’s local highlights which also sets a nostalgic ‘kampung’ setting during your dinner and several appetisers such as the traditional steamed vegetables with peanut sauce (Gado-gado), roasted chicken salad (kerabu ayam panggang), and traditional Malay glutinous rice with beef floss (lemang dengan serunding).
Don’t miss out on their chef’s Nasi Kandar stall featuring delicious side dishes such as fried chicken, fish roe, crabs, prawns and squid, fish curry, chicken in soy sauce (ayam masak kicap) as well as lamb kurma (kambing kurma).
Last but not least is the desserts selection that covers up to 14 different array of assorted Malaysian sweets and cookies, sweet green bean in coconut milk (bubur kacang hijau), jackfruit or sago simmered in coconut milk and palm sugar (pengat nangka and sago gula melaka), and an all-time local favourite, dodol.
Selera Nostalgia is available from 27 May to 24 June 2017, priced at RM140 nett per adult and RM70 nett per child below 11 years old.
