Our favourite Scandi brand, Monki, is launching their annual #monkifesto campaign in the spirit of empowering women all over the world.
As the Swedish brand turns 10, they’re celebrating and empowering women in its anniversary campaign. They have also partnered with people from previous and present campaigns to start a debate about body hair, cyber bullying, and everything that concerns the sisterhood.
Monki is also interviewing people who have taken a stand on their lives, daring to be different.
“Empowering women has been a part of the Monki DNA from that start back in 2006.” says Lea Ritz Goldman. “The #monkifesto aims to change attitudes. And if we can contribute to doing that, we will be prouder of that than any other achievement.”
These are two of the interviews with course-changing women that #monkifesto wants you watch and get inspired! 🙂
Knowledge is Queen – Interview with Rita Popova, 21-year-old girl who ran her own newsroom
With knowledge, women can be leaders, make decisions and lead organizations.
Cut The Norm – Interview with Flora Wistrom, writer and lifestyle blogger who doesn’t shave her body hair anymore.
No one tell women how to look like, what to wear or what to do. We are free to make our own choices.
