Go Wild This Weekend At A Fair, Petting Zoos & Farm In & Around The Klang Valley!

The end of the week is always a mini vacay for us busy people – but what is there to do? Usually, during the weekends, we find it hard to travel far, simply because Monday is around the corner (ah, the horror!).

But still, there’s a fun, thrilling, outdoorsy way for those in the Klang Valley to enjoy the weekends. There are three farms in KL and Pahang where you can interact with gentle and exotic animals, and it’s a chance for you to escape the city life and indulge in nature! Nothing beats spending a sunny day with new, furry friends!

And for this weekend, the three farms – Farm in the City, The Bentong Farm and KL Tower Mini Zoo – have collaborated to stage a ‘Wild Fair’ at Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya, Concourse Square, Level CC, from 11am to 8pm. The three farms are displaying some of their animals at the mall, and are offering special ticket prices which you can only purchase today (not applicable for online/counter purchases). Today is the last day of the fair, so head on to Paradigm Mall now!

You don’t have to use those tickets instantly, because they are valid at Farm in the City, The Bentong Farm and KL Tower Mini Zoo until 30th September 2022! That’s a good deal if you ask me, and their prices are definitely cheaper than their usual rates!

For the ‘Wild Fair’, the entry is free! You get a chance to meet some of the animals – like rabbits, goats, guinea pigs and reptiles – from the three participating farms. This is definitely a fun way to spend your weekend!

Not sure which farm to choose? We’ve got your back. Below are some details of the three farms.

Farm In The City

Located in Seri Kembangan, this sanctuary is a literal paradise for animal lovers. Unlike traditional zoos, where animals are usually kept in cages and enclosures out of reach, this petting zoo strives to be more than just a viewing exhibit – in fact, it encourages visitor interactions with animals in an authentic environment. Feed, pet, and interact with rabbits, guinea pigs, deer, alpacas, ponies, raccoons, and other gentle animals here!

Yep, mini zoo right in the heart of the city! The mini zoo is located on the ground floor of the iconic KL Tower and is home to a variety of exotic animals, including cheeky squirrel monkeys, cuddly rabbits, meerkats, sugar gliders, and the world’s smallest horse species. While it isn’t as large as other animal attractions in the Klang Valley, it’s still a lot of fun for a last-minute weekend outing with your family (especially if you’re planning a day out with animal-loving children).

Spend some time at the Bentong Farm, located just an hour outside of Kuala Lumpur, and about an 8-minute drive from Bentong town. The Bentong Farm has been dubbed the “Garden of Eden for Animals and Nature.” The farm is 27 acres in size and overlooks the mountains. It not only has a beautiful environment, small bridges, and flowing water, but it also has more than 60 different types of local fruit trees and vegetables, as well as more than 40 different types of tame animals, like the palm-sized Marmosets, South American Alpacas, the world’s smallest horse, and many more. It has been well-liked by the public since its inception. In the future, they will most likely have additional amenities such as homestays, restaurants, and outdoor activities. Hence, it is the best location to reconnect with nature.

So what are you waiting for? Hurry now and grab those tickets for a fun-filled experience with nature! You can still purchase their special priced tickets today (they’re good till September).
