Did you know that cell phone radiation kills honey bees because the radiation is believed to affect their navigation?
There has been a drastic decline in the bee population worldwide over the past 6 years and nobody could explain why until researchers at Panjab University in Chandigarh, India, placed cell phones by a beehive and powered it up twice a day for 15 minutes over a period of three months. During the three month period, it was discovered that honey production stopped, the queen laid only half as many eggs and the size of the hive shrunk dramatically.
