Makeup is sh*t expensive. You need 1930489 products for the entire face and it all adds up. Hence when we come across more affordably priced products at the drugstore that perform just as well as the high end ones, there is no doubt that they’re going straight into our makeup bag.
The same cannot be said about false eyelashes though. The exorbitantly priced ones always look lusciously fluttery and gorgeous, whereas most of the affordable ones look fake and well, cheap AF. The problem? False eyelashes get worn out after a few uses because of the glue and before you know it, it’s time to toss them out. It isn’t very purse-friendly..
Luckily, makeup artist Paloma Garcia just shared a genius eyelash hack that makes even the cheapest looking lashes look like a million bucks. That way, you can continue spending next to nothing on falsies AND always look your best. All you need is an eyebrow spoolie!
In a Facebook video, Garcia brushes out the stiff bristles of her cheap falsies, almost scrubbing them through to make them look less harsh and for a thicker, more natural look. Once she is happy with how they look, she uses the spoolie to make sure that the ends have a nice curl. Genius!
