Unfortunately, we Malaysians have been deprived of actual Lush stores for the longest time, but that simply means we never miss the chance to stock up every time we’re travelling to destinations that do have Lush (or bug our friends to do so for us!).
With that said, we recently found out that there has been a Lush Spa all along located in New York City and it’s what Lush dreams are made of!
Offering nine unique treatments that evidently utilise Lush’s products, the secret Lush Spa is located above a Lush store that is filled to the absolute brim and looks almost like an English cottage.
You’d first be greeted by a cosy kitchen when you walk in, where tea cups, tea leaves and Lush’s massage bars line the walls. Of course, all the bathrooms are also filled with Lush products, so all Lushies will have a ball of a time.
Each of the treatments are also planned out based off of various themes. For instance, The Planets treatment involves projection of stars and planets while mystic music plays in the background.
It is a 180-minute long full-body massage and facial experience, and get this – you’ll even be served tea and be treated to a palm reading session right after your pampering treatment.
Other cool concepts the Lush Spa offers include The Sound Bath which is a multi-sensorial treatment that teases all the human senses.
While an array of sounds are used to refresh and clarify, the client also gets to enjoy nourishing food and drink inspired by Alice in Wonderland and invigorating scents. The whole process just seems like a page out of a book of magical spells!
