Make hay while the sun shines! That’s probably what popular actress Nur Fazura have in mind right now. After the infamous #Fattzura phenomenon (Fattah Amin + Fazura, lol yeah it’s a thing), now, the gifted singer wants to spread her wings in the international music scene too.
According to Fazura, she will soon get back into the recording studio with an international artist, but the identity of the singer is yet to be revealed to surprise fans. “Alhamdulillah, I’ve just received news that I’ll be recording another duet with an international star soon,” gushed the 34-year-old singer.
Although Fazura could not unveil who the singer is yet, she said the project would take off soon as the song would be included in her upcoming album. “Since we’re intending to release my debut album in November, recording would have to begin quite soon,” said the clever singer.
The collaboration has been realised by Universal Music Malaysia, the music label to which she had signed on for a 360 talent management deal last February.
The upcoming collaboration with a foreign artiste will not be the first for Fazura. Earlier, she has recorded a duet number with Ridho Rhoma from Indonesia for “Bulan Terbelah Di Langit Amerika”, and another with Filipino Jason Dy for “Nothing Like Pag-ibig”.
Fazura has also in the past recorded a duet with the Malaysian band Estranged for “Hancur Aku” and with her co-star Fattah Amin for the number “Cinderella”, the official soundtrack for their drama series titled “Hero Seorang Cinderella” that had the two playing the lead roles earlier this year.
