Yesssss, a Sweet Valley High movie adaptation has finally been confirmed, and every 90s child who holds the book-series-turned-television show, here’s your chance to prepare for a trip down memory lane.
Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield will soon be hitting the big screen, but it cannot be confirmed that the OG twins, played by Brittany and Cynthia Daniel, will make a comeback for the film.
With that said, the woman behind Legally Blonde, Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith will be writing for the reboot, which will be brought to you by Paramount Pictures, alongside The Mick‘s writer Harper Dill, and we know it’s going to be awesome either ways.
We’re excited to watch how the tight sisters will be refashioned into a modern context for the movie, despite the fact that there is still no word on the involvement of the author of Sweet Valley High books, Francine Pascal.
Speaking of which, the Daniel sisters still look stunning as ever at age 41 (as per Instagram), just in case they decide to re-cast them!
