In partnership with the Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Ministry, ISETAN The Japan Store unveiled an exhibition on the famed Japanese Shinkansen, better known as the high-speed rail or bullet train, at the Lot 10 Shopping Centre which runs from February 17th until March 9th 2017 at Level 1.
This unique engagement is aimed at creating awareness and educating the public on Shinkansen, which coincides with the opening of the tender for the high-speed train project between Malaysia and Singapore. Visitors to the exhibition can expect to learn about the safety features of the Shinkansen, which will also be employed for the Malaysia-Singapore project.
Touted as one of the biggest in Asia, a train diorama expressing the charm of the Japanese railway system is showcased at the exhibition alongside a specially-designed miniature of the Shinkansen throughout the whole exhibition period. Door gifts such as the Shinkansen lunch box, tote bags and notepads will be available for purchase at the venue.
Project Shinkansen goes on from February 17 until March 9 2017 at 1F THE STUDIO, ISETAN The Japan Store, Lot 10 Shopping Center, Kuala Lumpur.
