For this year’s Conscious Exclusive, H&M releases a dreamy and beautiful collection that pushes forward in both sustainability and style. The collection includes H&M’s most sustainable and innovative material yet from Bionic® – a recycled polyester made from plastic shoreline waste.
In addition to a full collection for women and relaxed formal wear for men, the collection will include kids’ pieces, as well as a Conscious Exclusive fragrance made from organic oils for the first time ever! The collection will be available in around 160 stores worldwide and online starting from April 20.
This year’s Conscious Exclusive stars supermodel and philantropist Natalia Vodianova in her first ever campaign for H&M. “I am proud to appear in the H&M Conscious Exclusive campaign. It’s amazing to see the advances in sustainable fabrics that are used in the collection, pointing towards a more sustainable future for all
fashion,” says Natalia Vodianova.
We’re all loving this ethereal plissé pleat gown in powder pink produced utilising Bionic® that could easily pass off as a chiffon dress. It’s a collection of individual pieces with a sense of occasion, each one showing the many different ways that sustainable materials can create fashionable pieces.
Conscious Exclusive is a driver in H&M’s move towards a more sustainable fashion future. Across all of H&M’s product ranges, 20% are now made from more sustainable materials, with the aim of increasing the share each year.
H&M is one of the world’s biggest users of recycled polyester and one of the biggest buyers of organic cotton, proving that the brand is definitely passionate in creating sustainable and high quality fashion accessible to all.
H&M’s Conscious Exclusive Collection 2017 is available in selected stores from April 20, 2017. For more information on H&M’s road to global sustainability, access here.
