Singapore’s Common Man Coffee Roasters (CMCR) has officially landed and launched in KL City! Established in 2013, CMCR is a collaborative effort between Aussie-born Harry Grover, Singapore’s own Spa Esprit Group and long-time specialty coffee champions Five Senses Coffee Australia. This combo of knowledge, resources, experience and passion brings about a high level of excellence in CMCR’s food, coffee and service – all of which you can find in the bustling neighborhood of TTDI.
CMCR offers an all-day everyday brunch style menu with items including the hearty Common Man Full Breakfast, the ever-popular Common Man Fluffy Pancakes with caramelized banana, walnuts, berry coulis and salted caramel sauce and their infamous Churros with a twist, among other items.
The creative and wholesome menu is served together with an extensive coffee selection, ranging from CMCR’s signature 22 Martin Blend (prepared on a fancy custom designed Synesso espresso machine) to a single origin bean such as YirgZero from Ethiopia (expertly prepared on a cutting-edge brew bar).
The official launch party of Common Man Coffee Roasters on the 8th of December 2016 saw over 150 guests coming together to celebrate the opening of the anticipated cafe. With a glittering guest list that included celebrities and social media influencers, guests were bobbing away to hip hop tunes by prominent DJs, Arabyrd and Aku Ash.
Guests were also treated to a scrumptious spread of food, coffee cocktails and on-ground activities such as coffee cupping, latte art and an Aeropress challenge.
