Oh, no!

Mobile users throughout Malaysia are expected to experience telecommunications services disruption due to recalibration work on the service providers’ base stations. This is expected to go on until June 2017.

The recalibration work began in September, after the implementation of spectrum reallocation which was announced by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

Consumers, especially 2G users, will face issues like dropped calls and delays in receiving text messages (SMS).

To minimise inconvenience, certain restructuring processes of some service providers’ base stations will take place from midnight to 6am.

For more details, kindly contact your respective service providers: Maxis (1-800-82-112 or 123), Celcom (019-601 1111 or 1111), Digi (016-221 1800) and MCMC (1-800-188-030).
