So we took a tour around Kuala Lumpur’s latest shopping destination yesterday. You might’ve already read/seen us raving about it. It turns out that it is exactly what we imagined it to be – a mad house of wholesale goods that will drive shopaholics mental!
Inspired by the success of wholesale malls in Thailand and Indonesia, and officially endorsed by Tourism Malaysia as “Kuala Lumpur’s Must Visit Destination”, Kenanga Wholesale City is definitely more than “just another shopping mall”. There are throngs of stores offering clothes, shoes, beauty products, and accessories at crazy wholesale prices.
We’re not just talking about women’s fashion because from what we’ve seen, they also have levels and levels of goods for men and children. Nevermind fighting the urge to shop for yourself; you’d most likely need superhuman willpower to fight the urge to shop for everyone else.
For a complete shopping experience, Kenanga Wholesale City is also furnished with banking and logistic services, as well as F&B outlets. Ahem. So convenient. Well, if you’re going to go broke shopping you might as well do it with grace, right?
Word of advice though, we’d suggest you hit up shopping centre with a few friends or better yet, with your family (since they have something for everyone). Because like all wholesale malls, things go for way cheaper when bought in bulk.
