The LRT service for the Sri Petaling and Ampang lines are to be suspended on Saturday to expedite full migration of its signalling system.
As a temporary alternative and to curb the inconvenience faced by commuters, free shuttle bus services will be available.
70 shuttle buses will be offered with 16 zones of routes from the Bandar Puteri, Kinrara BK5, Sri Petaling, Sungai Besi, Bandar Tun Razak, Cempaka, Pandan Indah, Maluri, Chan Sow Lin, Pudu, Hang Tuah, Sentul Timur, PWTC, Bandaraya, Puchong Prima and Putra Heights LRT stations.
All the buses will head to the Masjid Jamek LRT station and end at the Pasar Seni bus hub, below the Pasar Seni LRT station.
After the migration of signalling system is complete, the new six-car trains can travel directly between Sentul Timur and Putra Heights, which will be renamed as the LRT Petaling Line from Saturday.
