The Internet has undoubtedly become synonymous with our daily routines as it has evolved over the years. With this, Samsung Electronics Malaysia has unveiled the new Samsung Galaxy J Series (2016) for data-savvy users who wish to explore and enjoy entertainment, be it videos, games or social media, while on the go.
The fundamental highlight of the new Samsung Galaxy J Series – J1, J5 and J7 – is the Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode which compresses data efficiently and restricts background applications to save on data usage. This enables users to go all out on the data connection worry-free.
With the UDS mode, users can save data efficiently up to 62% on Instagram* and 46% on YouTube*. This allows users to have an average of 50% savings on mobile data, thus extending battery standby time by two-folds. In addition, the UDS mode frees up RAM usage for a faster browsing experience and enhanced performance.
All the Galaxy J Series smartphones also come with dual-SIM support for better flexibility and convenience, for frequent travellers to manage their Malaysian and international SIM at one go or for users who wish to maximise their data and voice service via both SIMs.
In line with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy J Series, Samsung Malaysia Electronics has partnered with Yes for an irresistible promotional bundle that includes any of the Samsung Galaxy J device and a Yes 4G LTE Prepaid SIM Card with 30GB data that is valid for two months. The SIM card offers an advanced LTE service, a High Definition Voice Service built for Yes by Samsung and VoLTE (Voice-Over LTE) (more info to be revealed by Yes on June 30th).
The Samsung Galaxy J1 (RM449), J5 (RM849) and J7 (RM1,049) (2016) are now available at all Samsung Experience Stores and authorised dealers. All three smartphones come in three colours – Black, White and Gold.
