Tiger Beer’s latest music and art platform – Tiger Jams – recently sought out to scout for undiscovered musical talents to submit a sample original track via the Tiger Jams website and three talent recruitment drives further expanded the search, with only 10 of Malaysia’s finest undiscovered musicians shortlisted for the ultimate showdown.
In guiding these talents toward the career nudge they’ve always dreamed about, the 10 finalists are now featured on the Tiger Jams website whereby fans can vote for them into the top three. The three Malaysian acts will then be awarded with RM15,000 each to fund their musical ambitions, and will be paired with acclaimed Asian artists Singapore’s The Sam Willows, Hong Kong’s ToNick or Malaysia’s Darren Ashley as well as visual artists Donald Abraham, Kenji Chai and Flex to produce an original Tiger Jams track and music video each.
The three acts will also be able to host a gig each, and prior to the big event, a mystery international band will even handpick one of the acts to collaborate on a remix that will be performed at the finale. As new up and coming talents, it’s beyond question how invaluable this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is!
Tiger Jams sets out to celebrate the sights and sounds of Asia, aspiring to bring the freshest talents who are passionate about music and art together. Show your support now and vote for these emerging artists here! Voting ends on June 20th 2016.
