Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAS) renewed its deal with main in-flight catering supplier Brahim’s last year. As a result, the airline is set to revamp its economy class menu for both short and long haul flights.
Don’t worry, it’s all good news –MAS said that they are looking to provide “heartier three-course meals” for their customers, with better ingredients and bigger portions. They also want to improve on the overall presentation of the meals!
The meals will also be tailored to specific routes. For example, flights to north asian destinations will serve more Japanese and Korean inspired dishes, while flights to Australia will serve more local dishes, including curry and rendang to reflect our cultural richness.
Looks like flying economy won’t be so bad after all. Can’t wait to try the new menu! 😄
