From the 7th of May to 26th of June 2016, e.City Hotel’s all-day dining outlet will be offering its unique Parents’ Day Hi-Tea promotion with a free flow of coffee and tea for RM68 nett for two pax. The best part? Your parents will be able to enjoy delectable little treats while relishing the breathtaking view of the Southern Klang Valley.
Warm scones are served on the top tier, with condiments consisting of marmalade and fresh cream served below. Unlike traditional scones, these had bits of chocolate nibs in them.
Although we liked the Salmon Gravlax with Choux Paste and the Raspberry Financier, the Valrhona Chocolate Brownies has got to be our highlight from the second tier. The brownie was rich, decadent and satisfying to the sweet tooth.
The bottom tier comprises Red Velvet Cupcake, Royal Charcoal Ham and Cheese, as well as the Mini Fresh Tartlet.
We’d say that this Parents’ Day Hi-Tea menu has a good mix of savoury and sweet little canapés that are thoroughly delightful. Most importantly, the selection of sweet treats aren’t excessively loaded with sugar so parents, whether younger or of age, would be able to savour these offerings.
