Five university students recently fell into a 24-metre deep ravine at Keluang Hill, Kuala Besut, while taking selfies. Fortunately, none of the were badly injured.
Besut Fire and Rescue Department Chief, Mohd Zailani Abdullah said they received a call from a member of the public and five firemen from the Kampung Raja fire stations rushed over to the scene.
The deep ravine made it a bit hard for the rescue efforts, but the Fire & Rescue department are trying their utmost extricate all five students.
So be careful with that selfie okay? 27 people died from selfie-related incidents around the world last year.
