Fans of rock and roll all over the world got an orgasm as AC/DC announced the new front-man for their upcoming world tour, none other than the legendary Guns N Roses singer, Axl Rose.
Axl Rose will be replacing current frontman Brian Johnson, who had to stop touring due to hearing problems. His doctors have advised that he might experience total hearing loss if he did not stop touring immediately.
“We understand, respect and support Brian’s decision to…save his hearing,” said a statement on the band’s website. The band also thanked him for his contributions and dedication to their music throughout the years.
Brian Johnson has been with the band since 1980, belting out hits such as Back In Black, You Shook Me All Night Long, and Rock or Bust.
AC/DC’s tour with Axl Rose will kickoff May 7 in Lisbon, Portugal. Axl Rose will later return to Guns N’ Roses for their “Not in This Lifetime” summer stadium tour.
