OMG!
Residents of a block at the Metropolitan Square condominium in Damansara Perdana had to be evacuated after word got out of the discovery of explosives in one of the units early Sunday morning.
As police were evaluating the situation, all residents of the block were asked to leave their homes, and Fire and Rescue personnel arrived at about 8.30am to help in investigations.
A police raid in the morning led to the discovery of the explosives. This followed after a phone call received by the police over a possible bomb threat, and a bomb disposal squad was immediately dispatched to the condo.
Three explosives were found in one of the condo’s units.
