Brace yourselves, the live videos are coming!
Facebook officially launched Facebook Live this morning, as CEO Mark Zuckerberg demonstrated the company’s new live-streaming feature in front of a crowd. With the press of a few buttons, you can now broadcast live to family and friends all over the world.
The Facebook Live was initially launched a few months back, but it was only for a select few. It is now available for everyone to use.
Although there were some glitches reported, Zuckerberg is positive that this feature will change the game of online videos. With this new feature, users will be available to broadcast live to a Facebook group or schedule a live Q&A session through Facebook events. You can make live party announcements, watch your friends shopping from across the world, or participate in live Q&As with your favourite celebrities.
Viewers will also be able to express their feelings about live videos the same way they do with Facebook statuses, with reactions including like, love, haha, wow, sad or angry. Go give it a try!
