It’s just been announced that WhatsApp has added an end-to-end encryption, making conversations safer than ever and protecting our conversations from being violated by unwanted users. Now your chats, voice notes, shared files and media are all encrypted.
Whatsapp users were notified with the encryption on Tuesday and the setting was enabled by default.
The move is likely to irk law enforcement agencies, particularly the US Department of Justice which has recently expressed concern over “unreachable” information contained in devices. Other messaging apps with end-to-end encryption include Telegram, which is known to be used by the so-called Islamic State to share information.
Long story short, your chats on Whatsapp are now hacker-free. Still, just be vigilant on what you share on your social messaging apps! 😉
