Some people really did NOT have a great start to their week as the Kelana Jaya LRT train commuters were delayed terribly due to a computer system failure, leaving hundreds of people stranded and frustrated.
Large crowds were seen waiting for the trains at KL Sentral, Masjid Jamek, T Melati and Damai as the disruption began since 7am during the morning rush hour.
The number of trains were also reduced from 40 to 20, with one train being able to carry about 800 people.
By 9.40am, 35 trains were functioning normally. The trains started moving, but people were only allowed to board in batches.
It’s safe to say that a ton of people were late for work this morning.. :/
