Now, who doesn’t love food? Well, prepare to feast this Ramadhan as Sime Darby Convention Centre’s Ramadhan offerings with the theme ‘A Taste of Malaysia’ is about to satiate your every craving. We can all agree that Malaysian food is probably one of the best cuisines in the world, and the executive chef at SDCC will be whipping out his unique takes on some of our favourite classic dishes.
Worthy of a mention are the twenty live action cooking stalls where dishes are either cooked a la minute or prepared fresh, such as Lok-lok Steamboat, Sup Berempah, Sizzling Hot Plate, Penang Fried Kway Teow, Assorted Satay, Masakan Kawah, Putu Mayam, Lemang, Shawarma, Tandoori Chicken and Naan, and Assorted Cucur. These offerings will be garnished by international foods like roasted crispy peking duck, roasted lamb, steak, sushi and pizza.
A meal is not complete without a refreshing drink and Malaysians’ ol’ favourite cuppa, teh tarik will be available as well. If you’re up for something a little less rich, soya bean, bandung, barley lime, sugar cane and more will be offered too.
