There will be exciting activities and many highlights you really wouldn’t want to miss, so make sure to save the dates
Need more convincing? Here are eight things to look forward to at the 8th #MyBalloonFiesta:
Launching field access – Within this zone, you can have a close up view on the process that goes into preparing the hot air balloons for flight. Watch the pilots and crew set up the balloons, and take all the photographs you want! There’s also a replica of the first hot air balloon ever made and other themed hot air balloons for you to check out.
Night Glow + kit – The Night Glow event is one of the most anticipated attractions of past MyBalloonFiesta events. Prepare to be wowed when all the participating hot air balloons light up the night sky with radiance, accompanied by the grooves of today’s best hits. The Night Glow kit, which includes glow sticks, will make everything extra fun.
MYBALLOONCLUB – For exclusive tethered balloon rides, a gourmet buffet, official MyBalloonFiesta merchandise and private access to the launch field, you can purchase the MYBALLOONCLUB package. On top of that, visitors who have access to MYBALLOONCLUB will have the best views in the house throughout the entire day.
Zumba and yoga sessions – Exercising with vibrant coloured balloons in the background seems like pure bliss, and on the 12th of March, you can! The yoga session will be conducted by Malaysian yoga instructor Atilia Haron, and on the 13th of March, Zumba fans can get their adrenaline pumping early in the morning.
Balloon & Breakfast – When you pre-order your Balloon & Breakfast sets online, you will get to enjoy your breakfast with a spectacular panoramic view while sitting back on colourful Doof bean bags. There are various choices of breakfast sets available, all brought to you by popular bakery café, Tous les Jours.
Wonderful Indonesia Pop of Paradise – In the Red Zone, visitors will be able to witness fun performances by hit Indonesian pop stars, DJs and dance troupes, and relish in Indonesian cuisine like ayam penyet and murtabak. There will also be a climbing wall, a colouring wall, paper toy workshop, entertaining short animations and even a Cosplay showcase.
The Friendship Balloon project – Brought to you by Ultramagic, a hot air balloon manufacturer based in Spain, the Friendship Balloon project aims to connect hot air balloon pilots all over the world by allowing different pilots to fly the same handover balloon. At the end of its journey, this balloon will have been flown for more than 300 flights.
Extreme sports – Prefer something more exhilarating? The 8th MyBalloonFiesta has got you sorted with activities like paintball, Water Orb, wall climbing, an inflatable trampoline, Zorb Ball, paddle boats and archery. Reverse bungee jumping will also be offered for the first time in Putrajaya, and it’s the perfect activity for all you adrenaline seekers out there!
