Once you’ve thoroughly evaluated your choices and pinpointed your destination, it’d only be natural to figure out the most ideal time for you to snag flight tickets with the best prices to stretch your Ringgit.
Comprehending that predicament, Skyscanner – the global travel search engine – has released an analysis of three years’ worth of travel data that reveals the best time to book flights for the top 10 most searched destinations by travellers in Malaysia. With that being said, it’s always best to plan ahead and book early!
As it turns out, the cheapest time to book your travels is 19 weeks before departure on average, and the cheapest month to travel is November. In contrast, the most expensive time to travel would be the third week of July whereas the most expensive month to travel is December.
Skyscanner’s data also unearthed the cheapest month to travel, the amount of savings you can squeeze, and the best time to book your travels to Malaysia’s top 10 most-searched destinations:
To make the most out of your travels, you can use Skyscanner’s integrated features like Price Alert, which sends you an email notification once a day with the latest flight prices as they tend to fluctuate daily, helping you take advantage of the best deals that come by.
