Gather around Jedis, Sith, Admirals, Senators and Younglings… We hope that you are all finished with the grieving of our dear Han Solo as Walt Disney Productions and Lucas Films just announce that they’ve began the process of their film production at Pinewood Studios in London on 15th February 2016.
In The Force Awakens, we watched how Rey took her first steps into the galaxy and soon will continue her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the continuing Star Wars saga, Star Wars: Episode VIII.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is written and directed by Rian Johnson and continues the storylines of Star Wars: The Force Awakens as they welcome back cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis.
Newcomers to the galaxy will include Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro, Academy Award nominee Laura Dern and new talent Kelly Marie Tran.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is scheduled for release December 2017 in Malaysia and we are in agonising pain just thinking about how far away end of 2017 is!
