Christmas is definitely the most wonderful time of the year and while we worry about if we have gotten enough presents for our loved ones, there are people in the world that worry for simple necessities like water.
This Christmas, The Body Shop is working with a charity foundation called WaterAid UK, which builds clean water facilities for communities in Ethiopia that don’t have access to safe clean water. From every purchase of The Body Shop’s Christmas gifts you make, a portion of the profit goes towards providing clean water for a family of 5. The purpose is to reach 10 years of clean water for 1000 families!
But that is simply not enough because The Body Shop wants to give more. To reach that goal, they are asking for your help. Here’s what you can do:
1. Upload a photo of something that makes you are grateful for on Instagram. It can be anything! Your cat, an act of kindness, your coffee– anything.
2. Tag us in the caption: say that this is what makes you feel so good, and mention that for every Like your photo gets, The Body Shop Malaysia will pay for one day of safe clean water for a family of 5 in Ethiopia. We’ll use the hashtags #feelsogood #myTBSgiveswater
