Celebrate the holiday season in shimmering style and usher in the festivities with a feast for the senses at Quivo, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, an alfresco restaurant buzzing with flavour and life! This month, the restaurant brings on the festive cheer with its fantastical ‘All That Glitters’ themed menu, which showcases an array of tantalising drinks and desserts perfectly handcrafted for this time of the year. There’s also a specially curated set menu of a 3 or 4-course meal for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
Raspberry Bowl – Sweet and tangy raspberry gelatin that’s well-balanced when tasted with the homemade vanilla ice cream, and buttery sugar cookie
Combining classic festive flavours with local ingredients, Quivo’s set menu brings you a diverse selection of scrumptious dishes that are filled with quintessential holiday flavours, from the Roasted Beef Tenderloin and Mushroom Risotto, Boston Lobster with Thermidor Sauce, Pan-Seared Barramundi with Sautéed Clam Broth, to the Turkey Breast with Apple Chestnut Stuffing.
Festive Yule Log – A combination of delectable dark chocolate mousse and white chocolate mousse, with a nice surprise of a hazelnut filling, and a crunchy base, served with malty Horlicks ice cream
Of course, no merry feast is complete without some indulgent sweet treats, and you can choose from the decadent Festive Yule Log and the Poached Vanilla Meringue with Strawberry Salsa. In the merry month of December, there are also extra whimsical desserts and comfort drinks, like the Blueberry Cheesecake Milkshake or the warm cup of Spiced Hot Chocolate.
White Mulled Wine – A traditional concoction of white wine with cinnamon, rosemary, star anise, orange peel, apple chunks that’s served warm. A must-try as it’s a sweet, appetising, spicy and citrusy Christmas treat
Finally, adding to the holiday fun, Quivo has put together a range of celebratory cocktails and mocktails, like the All That Glitters Margarita and the White Mulled White, which are concocted by the restaurant’s in-house mixologists through experimentation, together with the fusion of products and marinating of natural ingredients to create original house-blends.
Spiced Hot Chocolate – This classic holiday drink is laced with cinnamon at Quivo, and we adore it’s rich, chocolatey flavour that’s toned down with full cream milk. Even though the cinnamon flavour isn’t that strong, it leaves a nice and comforting spicy aftertaste
Red Velvet Milkshake – This blend of strawberry puree, actual red velvet cake, vanilla ice cream and low-fat milk is such a sinful sweet treat, but it’s delicious! With every sip, the different ingredients fuse together for an enjoyable dessert
Blueberry Cheese Milkshake – If you love cheesecake, you’d have to try this. Actual cheesecake is blended together in the drink together with homemade blueberry puree and other ingredients, creating a sweet, heavenly delight
Apple Pie Cider – A one-of-a-kind alcohol-free drink, Quivo’s Apple Pie Cider has a light and citrusy flavour with a tinge of ginger for extra zing. It leaves a piquant, memorable aftertaste that’ll have you desiring for more
