Brunch & Munch Celebrates Its Grand Opening With A Summer Brunch Party

Located strategically at the new G Village retail hub at Desa Pandan, below the G Residence Condominium by Tan & Tan Developments, Brunch & Munch is a new and egg-citing concept restaurant that has hatched in Kuala Lumpur.

With its high ceilings and over 2,800 square feet of space, Brunch & Munch can seat more than 100 guests at a time and the rustic-style restaurant is prominently recognisable by its iconic 7 feet tall 3-dimensional egg sculpture.

Targeted to urban diners that are looking to let loose and have fun, Brunch & Munch has a welcoming interior that features eco-friendly design elements all throughout its retail space, utilising recycled material in a contemporary space.

Need a pick me up? Brunch & Munch offers wonderful cocktails with a twist, created by award-winning mixologists from View Rooftop Bar at G Tower. The casual bar is raised three feet above the ground and adds to the restaurant’s chill vibe.

In terms of its menu, Brunch & Munch offers comfort food with a twist. Diners can choose from the MUNCH menu, which are lighter snacks, or the BRUNCH menu, which are more substantial and hearty dishes.

Some of its signature comfort food items include the traditional Farmer’s Breakfast, Pork Pie with a twist, B&M “Boar-ger”, Caramelised Pork Belly, Asian Smoked Ribs and The Blackstone Benedict.

If you’re a coffee and pastry kind of person, Brunch & Munch is ready to serve you with its micro-roasted RGB Coffee and sweet temptations, including cakes, desserts, freshly baked pastries and breads.

During the weekends, Brunch & Munch will also feature Chandon sparkling wine at RM145 per bottle and this includes snacks. The Bar will also have Happy Hour deals and promos very soon.

During Brunch & Munch’s Summer Brunch Party to celebrate its grand opening, we were lucky enough to sample some of the restaurant’s dishes from both the BRUNCH and MUNCH menus.

Some of our favourites would be The “Pig”-za – a thin crust pizza with all sorts of porky goodness including lap cheung, ba kwa, ham and chorizo, The Blackstone Benedict – a poached egg on charcoal muffin with bacon and hollandaise sauce, the Shakshuka – a Tunisian egg-pan dish with pork and vegetables, and the B&M Cheese “Boar-ger” – a house-made BBQ pork patty topped with lap cheung, egg, bacon, aged cheddar and vegetables.

To go with our food, Moet Hennessy Diageo kindly provided refreshing La Vie Grand Marnier® cocktails served in quirky red spherical cups. Alongside that, guests sipped away on Chandon Brut sparkling wine as they mingled and savoured the yummy food.
