There’s no doubt about it – Malaysians love seafood, especially oysters. For that reason, Southern Rock Seafood are celebrating this great taste with the Kuala Lumpur Oyster Festival from the 25th of October to 1st November 2015. There are various great oyster deals awaiting you and to go with the shellfish, there are also Guinness, Strongbow, selected wines and vodka promos throughout the week.
These deals are not only available at Southern Rock Seafood (SRS). Besides its own SHUCKED, SRS has partnered with several other popular eateries to host the Kuala Lumpur Oyster Festival deals. These include Bait Bangsar, Soliel, La Bodega, Press Room, Spitalfields and Magnificent Fish and Chips.
The oyster connoisseurs at SRS have brought in a great variety of oysters for Malaysians, including the French Fine de Claire, New Zealand’s Cloudy Bay, to Ireland’s premium Gallagher Specials, plus many, many more.
On the 28th of October 2015, there will be an Oyster Master Class Dinner at SRS, which will showcase 12 different kinds of fresh oysters from around the world, expertly paired with Guinness, Strongbow and champagne. A fun Oyster Carnival will also be hosted on the 1st of November 2015, whereby you can enjoy great oysters, seafood, drinks, music, dancing and exciting games.
The highlight of the Kuala Lumpur Oyster Festival would most definitely be SHUCK OFF, an oyster opening competition that will determine Malaysia’s shucking champion to represent Malaysia in the World Championship in Ireland in September 2016. This competition is also open to any resident in Malaysia.
