This coming Christmas L’OCCITANE and Pierre Hermé has something special in store for you. The founder of L’OCCITANE, Olivier Baussan invited his friend, pastry chef Pierre Hermé to make up a range of scents of L’OCCITANE in exactly the way that the founder of the brand imagined the festive Christmas season would be. The result in these two collaborating resulted in a collection of beautifully concocted fragrances that are both complex and unmistakeable.
For this special collection created with Pierre Hermé, Olivier Baussan took upon himself to come up with the design for not only the bottle but also the box. The box, which has a lift-off lid that comes in cylindrical shape and covered with vibrant colours will remind you of a hat box and also the shape of a cake. On the other hand, Pierre Hermé, the creator of the new range for L’OCCITANE, doesn’t only have memory for flavours but also for scents. For this collection he said he was inspired by “ingredients that awaken desires, raw materials that conjure up pleasures.”
JASMIN-IMMORTELLE-NEROLI
One of the three from the collection of L’OCCITANE and Pierre Hermé, this range is all about floral notes that evokes the femininity in each woman. The lemon and petit grain in the palate will give you the refreshing scent you’ll want throughout the day. The pink pepper in the equation will also offer a breeze of fresh air. This is a fragrance that will capture the scent of the island of beauty thanks to its woody and musky notes.
PAMPLEMOUSSE RHUBARBE
This range is centred around the refreshing note of a grapefruit but includes a slightly bitter scent thanks to the crisp aromas of rhubarb. What could be more exciting and exhilarating than the explosive scents of grapefruit and rhubarb? With the combination of grapefruit, rhubarb, lemon and cypress with some clove, nutmeg, lavandin and more, this collection is versatile enough for both men and women.
MIEL MANDARINE
Tangy and sweet, the mixture of mandarin orange, immortelle and beeswax will have you feeling sensational and fruity! This range is available in the form of hand cream that’s made with Shea butter to nourish and soften the hand, and also a lip balm that’s fragrant as well as delicious!
The collection will be available at all L’OCCITANE outlets from December 2015 onwards!
