Shaving in the future might not involve sharp razor blades.
Believe it or not there is a razor out there that doesn’t use a sharp blade. Skarp Technologies might change the way we shave forever because they have developed a razor that uses heated laser. The futuristic spin on the everyday product has been designed for both men and women to use. The laser beam apparently gets close enough to give both body and facial hair a perfect shave, safely and smoothly too.
The idea first came to Skarp co-founder Morgan Gustavsson in 2001 but laser technology was nowhere near that advanced yet, especially to cut through lighter shades of hair. The next several years saw him and co-founder Paul Binun working hard until they found the perfect laser wavelength that can safely cut through any shade of hair.
The razor runs on one AAA battery and will provide users 50,000 hours of shaving time! This product really sounds like something we need in the future.
