Milkcow, the premium organic soft serve ice cream parlour from South Korea, opened its doors in Malaysia in 2014 and its franchise was brought to our shores by none other than Yeo Kian Howe, the Director and Co-founder of BluGroupe Sdn. Bhd. Less than a year after its launch, Milkcow has since expanded with six stores throughout Malaysia, and also targets to have at least 15 stores opened by the end of 2015.
Alongside his soft serve ice cream operations, the sports-loving Yeo also has ventures in other business arenas under BluGroupe Sdn. Bhd. In 2012, he founded DSYR, an online lifestyle store that promotes aesthetically functional design products for minds that feed on creative and unique extraordinaries. From quirky everyday stuff and one of a kind fashion finds to statement-worthy novelty items, take a look around on DSYR and you’re bound to find something you’d like.
Another brand brought over by Yeo was KeepCup, which are sustainably made, colourful reusable cups aimed at striving to make a difference in the environment by encouraging the behaviour to reuse, not dispose conveniently. KeepCups are available via the DSYR website, various cafes, and many departmental stores in Malaysia.
To enrich the lives of the golf-loving community in Malaysia, Yeo also managed to secure rights to distribute Callaway, an American sporting goods company that manufactures golf equipment, golf accessories and golf lifestyle-related products in more than 110 countries worldwide.
A self-proclaimed personal development junkie, Yeo keeps himself going by staying up to date on new business concepts and innovative ideas. BluGroupe Sdn. Bhd. currently has four wholly-owned subsidiaries under its wing in technology, retail, distribution, F&B and real estate.
