Today, Lanvin revealed their new fragrance design, Éclat de Fleurs that sets as suggestive a setting as their previous fragrance creation of 2002 Éclat d’Arpége, which was inspired by the unconditional bond between Jeanne Lavin and her daughter, Marguerite. The fragrance brings about the subtle expression of feminity, exuding lightness, joy and a fleeting euphoria.
Éclat de Fleurs blends together the tangy scent of a fruit with the fragrance of flowers to bring in mind a high-spirited day of spring. Anne Flipo and Nicolas Beaulieu (IFF) the designers of this creation explained that they wanted to create the image of an “impressionist” painting of spring for this fragrance.
The fragrance carries a head note of a succulent Pear to create the sensation of a colourful freshness with top notes of the the floral heart to release each of its accents. Releasing the feminity of Rose, the fragrance uses the Sambac Jasmine to add a sensual echo of the addictive sweetness of white Musk followed by the creaminess of Sandalwood to emphasise the seductiveness of this perfume. The design of the fragrance brings about a sense of feminity with a carving of a flower into the round transparent glass bottle, allowing for the rose colour of the fragrance to show through. Following the same cap as Éclat d’Arpége, the bottle is topped with a rose diamond under which two white gold rings are intertwined to represent the love that exists between Lanvin and her daughter. The bottle also holds an engraving, curved with petals of Jeanne Lanvin’s daughters name, marguerite with the name of the fragrance written in silver letters. The symbolic Plexiglas case of the Éclat d’Arpége line is embellished with a tender rose to reinforce the refinement and transparency of the object.
The fragrance comes in 3 different sizes, the 100ml bottle at RM349, 50ml bottle at RM259 and 30ml bottle at RM199.
